The Nathan Berhel Scholarship was established to honor the legacy of Nathan Berhel, CC’s cousin, as a scholar athlete at Vallejo High School. He left us too soon, but his memory lives on in the successes of the young people that he has inspired.

Anthony Piquit

A curve ball rarely rattles Anthony Piquit—on or off the field. He is able to do this with the support of his family, which is very important to him. This was the primary reason that he stayed close to home and is entering his last year at Solano Community College. He knew that going away for school would put an added strain on his family’s finances and felt it was important to do his part to ensure his two sisters were receiving similar opportunities that he had growing up

It is not surprising that Reyanna is putting this into practice as she thrives in her second year at Jackson State University in Mississippi.
